Meet Nicole, a 28 year old Houston native. On the outside she seems to be every man’s dream. She’s young, gorgeous and driven but everything isn’t always what it seems. CR journeys inside the mind of a “female playa” and reveals why the deception of sugar and spice is everything but nice...
CR: What were your thoughts on our "Ladies Man" post?
NP: I wasn't surprised by the ladies man post. I somewhat expect that any "single" man would be seeing multiple women... Although I still wouldn't want to be one of many.
CR: How many men are you currently seeing?
NP: How many men am I seeing? Well I'm "doing" two but I really like one. The other is just a guaranteed orgasm. No potential for much else there at all.
CR: Do you think they suspect they are being played. If not, why?
NP: I'm not playing anyone. I'm not in a relationship with either. The one that I really like probably assumes I "date" but most guys put me in a "good girl" box and tend to put a lot past me. The one whom it’s just sex with knows I date other people. We have somewhat of an understanding. I couldn’t care less if he dates others because he's not someone I'd want a relationship from. No steady job, baby mamas, smokes etc... He just serves as a pseudo BF when needed.

Three is a crowd.
Meet Rebecca, a 25 year old real estate agent who is caught in a love triangle. Many would consider her "the other woman" but you may walk away thinking differently after reading this interview. CR sat down and spoke candidly with this intellectual beauty and captured her perspective...
CR: How long was it into your current "relationship" before you discovered he already had a girlfriend?
Rebecca: It was about seven weeks into the relationship when I started to be concerned. I discovered her presence, but I wasn't exactly sure of the status of the relationship. When I confronted him about it, he assured me that she was not his girlfriend. Initially I bought into the lie. But, after I started to see her "around" more and more I knew what the deal was.
CR: Did you consider getting out of the situation before emotions got any deeper?
Rebecca: I contemplated my next move and at the end of the day I liked dating this guy. I have a lot of fun with him and he treats me like I want to be treated. So, I made the decision to allow him to believe that I actually believed his lie. Sad to say but, I got to the point of wanting to knock the "girlfriend" out of the picture. My frame of mind was that if she had as much control over him as she thought then he would not be so easy for the taking.

The Locker Room
We hope everyone had a wonderful Thankgiving but now it's time to get back to Cupid's Reality!!!
CC sat down with four professional atheletes and I must say Houston ladies have made quite the name for themselves in the world of atheletes. These ballers say that atheletes know to hide their wallets when they come to Houston! That's right ladies, Houston women have the reputation of being GOLD DIGGERS!!!! These hot atheletes say they know a gold digger from a mile away and Houston is their nest. On the brighter side, They did mention that New York, California and Houston have some of the most beautful women in the U.S.A. but when it comes to handing out the best body award....Houston wins hands down!!!! So to summarize this interview: Houston women are beautiful with the bodies of greek goddesses but you have to pay to play! Now I must say, I've witnessed quite a few "opportunist" in Houston and beautiful ones at that! But don't put us in a box fellas there are some good ones out here as well!!!

Estevan Breaks His Silence
CC sits down with Cupid’s Chronicle cast member Esteban as he breaks his silence & speaks candidly about love in the gay community!
CC: How long have you known you were gay?
Esteban: I’ve known forever. I was about 6 or 7 when I realized I was different.
CC: Did you ever date women?
Esteban: yea I did. Not a lot but a few. I guess it was just enough to cover it up. I had a few in college & had a long term girlfriend of about 3 and a half years.
CC: Do you think she ever knew you were gay?
Esteban: No. She would make comments sometimes like “oh you’re so gay” but that phrase is used sometimes to refer to a certain thing that a guy might do that is feminine. Not that I’m feminine but I guess certain things that I did.
CC: I must say you’re not very feminine at all. I’ve seen some pretty feminine ones before.
Esteban: yea (laugh)
CC: So sex! Did you have to fake it? Did you have to think of a man to get the job done?
Esteban: yea that was weird. Usually… (pause) well it depends on the sex; if it was quick and to the point, you know a “nooner” type thing in between work I could do the job without thinking about guys. If it was more of a passionate love making session then, yea it’s kind of bad to say, but I would definitely have an image of that guy walking down the hall or some guy I saw on TV.
CC: Did it feel good with a woman?
Esteban: It did. It did. All my (physical) senses are down there so it works. It’s just the mind that wasn’t there.
Down Low Men
CC: Have you ever dated any “Down Low” Men? If so, how do you feel about the DL phemonenom?
Esteban: I have. I can’t say I have dated any DL men but I have definitely messed around with them. It’s just funny. It kind of feeds off of that ‘every gay man wants a straight man’ thing. A down low man is the closest thing to a straight man. They’re usually married with kids and live a ‘straight’ life.
